Lavender View
Garden Club maintains a garden located at the intersection
of Garden Lakes Boulevard and Shoreline Drive in West Rome.
The triangle has been maintained since the late 1960’s and
is in a heavily traveled, highly visible area. During the
50th anniversary year of the club, 2008, a Blue Star By-Way
Memorial Marker was erected at the triangle to honor our
veterans.
Daffodil bulbs are planted around a large rock
which is the center accent of the island. Colorful shrubs
enhance the garden and the area is marked with a sign and
solar lights. Seasons and special occasions are observed
with beautiful appropriate decorations on the sign enhancing
the garden for all who pass by.

This Club meets the 4th Monday at 11 AM, September-May at members' homes.
